View Vieux Chalet – A Swiss Restaurant in Antipolo in a new window.
Vieux Chalet is a Swiss restaurant in Antipolo City. It is owned by the Hassigs, a Swiss-Filipino family. They have been serving Swiss cuisine for more than 25 years since they opened their home to people in 1984.
I brought my folks here last month for Mother’s day. It was a last minute thing so I wasn’t able to get a reservation. When we got there the restaurant was full but we got a table thanks to the head waiter who chased us as we were about to leave.
The place is an old house converted into a restaurant. You get a good view of the Manila specially at night. If you look closely at the 360 view you’ll see the city lights from the window.
I’ve been blogging for a while but I still forget to take down some details like what food we ate.haha. But I did take some photos.
The food was a bit pricey, our total bill was around Php 2,700 for 3 people but it was worth it. My mom really enjoyed the food even hinting that we should eat there more often.
My mom, she’s 75% chinese.
My dad, Pure blooded Filipino. I inherited the balding gene from him. He started to get bald at 40 while mine started at 24, way too early.
